Sadly, this
super stallion was gelded due to breeding problems in 2000.
Watch for his babies though -- they'll be great ones!

The Misty Chip's
sire, The Miracle Chip, is the only
horse to be named National Champion and World Champion in
Snaffle Bit Western Pleasure in the same year. His
grandsire, Zip's Chocolate Chip, is an
AQHA Superior Western Pleasure horse and a World Champion
Junior Western Pleasure horse. His dam, SSP'S Misty, is an ApHC Hall of Fame mare. Before retiring to the farm, Misty earned 67 points in Western Pleasure and 9 points in Hunter Under Saddle with limited showing as a 3 and 4 year old. This beautiful young stallion will be standing to limited mares in the 2000 breeding season. Bred to pleasure, but due to an injury sustained as a youngster, The Misty Chip has not yet been shown -- look for him in the future in the show pen. If you are concerned about the rule changes on getting color on your Quarter Horse mares, here's a stallion to consider where you won't have to sacrifice ability for color. |
